I’ve had exactly the same problem — ZP wouldn’t play in Ubuntu (over a year and one major version of Ubuntu on, swfdec is just as crap). I’ve been trying to figure out how to fix this for hours. Finally stumbled upon your post. Your solution worked for me perfectly.

Thanks for the great how-to. It was driving me crazy to have to select the highlighting syntax manually whenever I was working with tpl files.

Thsnks for such a detailed set of steps. I am a developer and part-time network admin so I figured, I can handle this move. Wrong! I was getting too impatient with the process and ended up not getting to the point where I could actually change the location. So I took a deep breath, followed your steps to the T and they worked

Great post. I found this post of great worth and have actually posted it on my blog site as well. Some of the wording I changed but I based it off your review cause it is short and to the point of a great applet.

I too, was surprised when I updated to 8.10 and found no “Time Tracking” applet. I mean everything I had read boasted it and then to find out, it was not there.
